fifteen years, one principle
little pig started in a shared office in east london with three learners and one consulting client. the arrangement was simple: the consulting work paid for the training, and the training produced the next generation of consultants.
that's still the structure. we've grown — more cohorts, more clients, a proper building — but the principle hasn't moved. every part of what we do has to pay its way, and the point of any of it is that somebody goes home with a career they didn't have before.
we're accredited with the media, information and communication technologies sector education and training authority (mict seta). our curriculum is audited annually.
developing technology talent
to create pathways into the technology sector for young south africans.
producer, not consumer
building products used globally — anchored by the people and employers already here.
four things we hold to
real work, paid
training only counts if it leads to a paying job. we don't run certification mills.
small cohorts
we cap intakes at 24. volume is not a measure of impact.
local employers first
we place eastern cape talent with eastern cape employers wherever we can.
the long game
alumni stay alumni. our programme doesn't end at month twelve.
